Wedding
Frequently Asked Questions
Which dates are available? Summer weekends
book quickly. Please call for available dates.
How do I go about booking rooms for our out-of-town
guests? Rooms are booked based on a 2 night minimum
stay. Booking the entire resort for the 2 nights is required. If you
have more guests than we can house, we can help facilitate their stay.
What are other fees will we incur? There is a
$1500.00 facility fee. If you choose to host a golf tournament, there will
be a refundable deposit of $500.00.
The wedding party is responsible for all rental costs such as tents,
heaters, tables, and chairs, as well as any other incidentals you choose
to rent to enhance your day.
Where do the festivities take place? Most of
our brides and grooms choose to have the ceremony on the lawn overlooking
the meadow. There are several churches in
st1:place>
Seeley
Lake as well. The
reception is held in the Mountain View Pavilion for groups up to 140.
Larger groups require renting a tent.
What do we do in case of inclement
weather? In case of inclement weather, we will move the
ceremony to the
Blackfoot
Conference
Center. For groups over 100 you
may need to rent a tent.
How many guests can Double Arrow provide
for? We can provide sleeping accommodations for about 80
guests, depending on the makeup of your group. Our food and beverage
service can provide services for up to 200 guests. We provide service
wear for up to 100. Larger numbers require rentals. During the colder
months when the Pavilion is not available, we limit the number of guests
to 75.
When do we make a deposit and how much do you
require? At the time of booking, we require a deposit of
$1500.00 to hold the date and a 50% deposit on lodging costs. If
guests are paying for their own lodging, it works best if deposits are
made directly by them.
Two weeks prior to your event we require a 50% deposit on food.
This number is derived from your guaranteed guest count for the
reception. Your final bill is based on the guaranteed count or the
actual number served, whichever is greater.
How do I go about planning the details of my wedding at Double
Arrow Resort? We first confirm the date and make all
lodging reservations. This is done through the front desk. The staff
can guide you through booking the rooms to best accommodate the needs of
your group. Any golfing or other activities are also arranged
through the front desk.
Then it is on to planning the wedding and reception as well as other
events surrounding this occasion. This is done with the Restaurant
Manager. Ideally we set up about three appointments to get all of
the details worked out. At least one of these appointments is best
done in person as a walk-through and the others can be done via our many
ways of communication. All final arrangements should be made 4 to 6
weeks prior to the wedding.
Can we bring our own food & alcohol? No,
Double Arrow Resort must provide all food and beverage service.
I would like to have photos taken on the grounds. Is
that permitted? Yes, there are several scenic locations on
site. We also offer a beautiful horse drawn carriage, for the
ultimate in arrival and departure as well as gorgeous photos. This
service can be arranged for $300.00. This includes a driver complete
with top hat and tails as well as the surrey. A great memory!
What is the time limit on the reception? We
will close the bar and the Main Lodge no later than
2 a.m. on the night of the reception.
Will other people be at the Resort during our
Wedding? No, you have rented the entire resort.
People may stop by for information or brochures, but your guests will be
the only ones staying here and dining here.
Do we have to provide meals for all guests each
night? No, on the nights when your families have chosen not
to host a meal in our restaurant, we will be open to the public. We
do ask that your guests make reservations to ensure a table in the dining
room.
What do our wedding guests do for breakfast and
lunch? A hearty continental breakfast is included
in the lodging costs each morning. Some groups choose to host a
Farewell Brunch on the last day of their visit. We are not open for
lunch, unless your group is hosting a special function. Lunch is
available at the Golf Course snack bar. We can also provide a catered
lunch if you like.
Who should I hire to do the ceremony, photos, music, other
services? We have excellent florists, musicians and
photographers available locally. When you have booked your wedding
with us, we will give you that list. You may then interview them to
see if they are right for you.
Where does the band set up and where do we
dance? Dancing takes place in the
Mountain View
Pavilion. Dancing is not available November - April when the pavilion is
not available.
What are your standard
gratuities? A gratuity of 18% is added to all
food and beverages and a gratuity of 5% is added to all
lodging.
